Quantity of Residual Heat from U.S. Thermal Power Plants

Estimates of residual heat generated by U.S. coal, nuclear, and natural gas power plants in 2012. Includes the amount of heat contained in power plant exhaust and cooling water for the power plants listed in Energy Information Administration Form 923. Also lists the power plant’s latitude and longitude coordinates so geospatial analysis on residual heat can be performed.
